Due to Covid-19 virus, when many things were shut down during the early months of this year, I took the opportunity to upgrade some of my office procedures to provide a more safe and secure environment for my clients which include:
- Additional emphasis on the need for paperless transmission;
- A new payment system to accept online paymentsThe use of video conferencing to reduce the need for in-person travel;
- An addition of a client portal that allows for the sending and receiving of information more safely, securely and which is also HIPPA compliant;
- Several other changes including updating the website so that the changes mentioned can more easily be done.
These changes have been made to ensure that Covid-19 is a talking point and not a reality in this practice. Until further notice, videoconferencing will be the route I will be taking for consultation appointments and any other attorney time necessary.
